I created a soft drink company by the name of Sun Touch, along with a product and an advertisement, which are inspired by the many different Japanese brands and drink types.
In designing the logo I was inspired by the little stickers that are on fruit so the design is encapsulated within a circle. I wanted it to give off the feeling of rural and natural, so I incorporated a stitched seam, along with a ribbon banner containing the company’s name. In the centre there are fruit petals with a yellow and white gradient to depict a rising sun.
The product 桃ジュース (momo juusu) is an alcoholic peach drink. The design utilizes a pop art and punky style with modern style elements along with bright and “in your face” colour palette.
The poster advertisement states, “it’s summer! it’s peach! of course!”, it was designed to give off a summertime and refreshing feel. It was created with the use of many different elements in order to form one cohesive photo.
